It’s that time of year again where the lights go up, the tree gets decorated, and we buy loved ones thoughtful gifts! This time of year can bring so much joy and peace, but with Covid-19, it can be a bit more difficult to feel the joy of the holidays this year. This year, we’ve seen multiple small businesses close because they cannot compete with big box store prices and sites like Amazon. It’s disheartening every time I see a post about a local business struggling, so I’m hoping to throw some holiday cheer around by creating an easy, accessible, and inclusive Holiday Shopping Guide for the Bay of Quinte. I’d like to thank Jesse Whale at ClosettCandyy for the inspiration and check out her shopping guide for Kingston if you’re stopping in there!
If you have a business that isn’t listed, please feel free to message me on Instagram and I’ll add it in. Include your business name and a working link and you MUST be living in the Bay of Quinte (between Belleville-ish, to the County, and over to Brighton). MLM accounts will not be accepted. Please do not take offence if you weren’t originally on the list! If you feel your business is in the wrong category, reach out and I’ll correct it. I am just one person who also works a full-time job and trying my best to support local! Just reach out and I’ll happily add you in!
